More New Tags

This first set of tags... I just LOVE them! They are postcard images that I've mounted on quality cardstock, and vintaged them up a bit, and added twill ties that I hand dyed. They would work so great in your scrapbooking or cardmaking, and as well as unique tags for gifts.
They are finished on the back so that you can add some journaling or a message on them if you wish.
Check them out HERE

Also just added to my store is this collection of assorted tags. They have been cut from leftover scrapbooking quality, sturdy paper, as well as some very pretty card fronts. They are all 3" wide, and vary in length.
Most are blank on the back. I can imagine a wide variety of uses.... for scrapbooking, cardmaking, and gift giving of course. Also, since they are all the same width, they would be a good start for you creating your own tag album. Add some pretty ribbons and use them as bookmarks, or even GIVE as bookmarks :)
You can see them HERE

Thanks for visiting :)

Tags... Lot's of Tags

Howdy to all :)

I've been working on some tags... just tags in general.... simple, not decorated.

Tags that are great for gift-giving, or scrapbooking, or even to identify storage containers (they look really cute hanging on a group of cloth drawers, identifying the contents.

So first up are these cute Thanks A Latte tags HERE

They are 1 1/2" by 2 1/2", and made with Recollections Kraft cardstock 65lb, cardstock that has been doubled, so they are very sturdy. The back is suitable for writing a personal message if you wish.
They would look so cute tied to a bottle of something, or a box, or tied onto the handle of a bag. They have been hand stamped with a permanent ink, so they can be hand-colored if you wish... maybe with some Copic Markers or ??? The set includes 12 tags.

These Butterfly Thank You tags are larger.... they measure 2 1/4" by 3 1/2", plenty of room for writing on the back if you wish.
They are also made with Recollections Kraft cardstock. The cardstock is 65lb, and I have doubled it for durability.
The ink is a black, permanent ink. Check 'em out HERE

And last (at least for THIS upload) is some plain Butterfly tags... perfect for any type of gift giving, and also for adding to your scrapbooking or cardmaking.

They measure 2 1/4" by 3 1/2", plenty of room for writing on the back if you wish.
They are also made with Recollections Kraft cardstock. The cardstock is 65lb, and I have doubled it for durability.
The ink is a black, permanent ink.

You can check these out HERE

That's it for this round of Kraft cardstock tags...

off now to make a new post for a couple of other tags....

OH YEAH.... special orders available..... different cardstock, different colors, different quantity.....  message me, or use my Etsy link to contact me.

UGH....

sitting here with a couple of big black eyes (why DO they call them "black"... they are actually purple)
and a broken wrist, and bruises on both my knees. I took a major tumble... I was on my way to bed, and had stuff to carry into the kitchen. I had vacuumed earlier in the day, and left it by the wall so hubby could vacuum my craft room for me (he's such a sweetie), and so, there it stayed. BUT.... I forgot about it, and when I headed for the kitchen, all the lights out and my hands full, I tripped, and landed with my face flat on my stone floor.... OUCH! Big goose egg on my forehead in no time flat. It took 3 days for the black eyes to show :)
It's been rather hard typing and crafting with this thing on my left hand... Oh well... THAT will teach me to vacuum!
:)

Some New Photo Albums added

Howdy....
I've added a few new mini albums to my Etsy store.
This is one pretty small.... 2 1/2" by 4 1/4".... great for sticking in your purse, or desk drawer at work... something pretty to have to show off some special photos :) It will hold at least 18 pics.

check it out HERE

Next..... ahhhh.... spring. This is just perfect to capture impressions of spring :)
It measure 3 3/4" by 5", and has lots of places for pics!

You can find this one HERE

And last, I have this one... created with the most wonderful paper from a paper set called Botanicals.
Some of the pages and/or elements have some pretty sparkly on them... some came on the paper, and some I added. For instance, the bird on the front cover is lightly sparkled :) It's so soft and pretty!
It measures 3 3/4" x 5", and also has places for lots of pics. As in the "memory" album above, each page is a pocket page, and has a double-sided tag inside. As well, each page has places for pics, and a couple have even more pockets.

You can find this one HERE

OK... that's it for now.... got some mini cards to make :)

Tag Photo Album - Roses

I wanted to share a new photo album I've listed on Etsy. It's made from shipping tags, covered with ... dang.... gotta go find the name of that paper, but it sure is pretty :) and is 5 1/4" long by 2 3/4" high.

Check it out in my Etsy store HERE

There are 10 pages for photos and/or journaling, which consist of 15 pockets, that hold 18 tags. Each tag is finished on both sides, and 1 tag is 4 sided... so in total, there are 38 places for photos and/or journaling.
There is no title on the front.. I left it blank so that you can add your own subject, if you like, or leave it as is.

ATC's

I am in an ATC swap at Scrapbook.com, and I just wanted to share the ATC's I made...
You can view them larger HERE ....

A story

Good morning... I hope you are having a great day!

After a LONG absence from online scrapbook forums, I have joined up with Scrapbook.com.
There are some very nice people there, as well as a lot of talent!
I used to be very involved with Lifetime Moments, where we had great fun, and was inspired constantly to scrap our pics.
From the experience and knowledge I gained from there, I was able to apply, and was accepted as a designer for our LSS, and I have to tell you, THAT was fun!!! Alas, things come to an end, and the store closed, and it was the LAST LSS in our area.
But for me, that was ok.... I realized that Digital Scrapbooking was better for my needs.
I had great fun learning my new photo-editing software, starting with Photoshop 6.0, and progressing to Photoshop CS2.
Pretty soon, that developed to an online business. I designed digital kits, and sold at several online stores, and had great fun, but it was taking up so much of my time, and I wasn't getting my own pics scrapped.
So, I took a break from it all.....
THEN.... I met my son's girlfriend... who is TOTALLY into creating wonderful works of art, photo albums, layouts, cards, tags. She put any of my work to shame! She inspired me to pick "creating" back up again..... so, off to the stores to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars updating my old supplies. Yes, I had lots of things already, enough to open my own store, as my husband says... lol.... but it was "old"... I needed NEW!!! :)
So, here I am.... again.... learning new techniques, and creating my own works of art. I am NOT doing layouts tho.... I am in total awe of mini-scrapbooks. Oh what fun they are. I love the themed idea, and they are so decorative, plus, they make great gifts!
Well, I somehow HAVE to justify all that money I spent on new supplies, so..... I have started selling my creations. OK... well, as of right now, I only have 2 mini-books up, but more are coming real soon. I sell at ETSY... I LOVE that place, a great place to find all kinds of things hand-crafted, as well as vintage items. I don't plan on my business taking off til November.... until then, I am working on getting it ready, and IF I should sell something in the meantime, I will be happy :)
I create SLOW.... so I've given myself plenty of time to create, and to learn as much about the business end as I can.
Oh my..... I've talked more than I expected to... lol... well, it's ok...  I don't do it too often.... :)

Friendship Mini Album

I finally got my mini album done. I've been working on it since "forever", but since this was the first one I've made for a very long time, I wanted to make sure I used updated techniques. It was fun doing research on how to do them... YouTube is such a fantastic place to learn how to do just about anything! Also, I didn't spend a lot of time on it per day, so it SEEMS like it took longer than it probably did. Nevertheless, it's full of detail and jam-packed with places to put pictures and/or journal.

You can check it out in detail at my Flicker acct. HERE

A Blogger - NOT

Hey there...
well... I have to say right up front that I am not a blogger. It's not that I don't think it's really cool, cuz I do. And I love other peoples' blogs, and am amazed at how they can do so many things, and still have a wonderful blog.
The thing is... I could do nothing all day... all week even, and STILL not be able to keep up with a blog.
Still... there are times when I have something to say, something to share, or even something to promote, and it WOULD be nice to have one place to post to... ya know... once in awhile :)
SO... here is my "blog".... you won't see frequent updates on it, but when I got something to say, you WILL see it here.
HEY... I know... why not subscribe to my blog, and when I DO say something, you will be able to see it. Better than having to check this blog everyday to see if  said something or not... lol.
