A Blogger - NOT

Hey there...
well... I have to say right up front that I am not a blogger. It's not that I don't think it's really cool, cuz I do. And I love other peoples' blogs, and am amazed at how they can do so many things, and still have a wonderful blog.
The thing is... I could do nothing all day... all week even, and STILL not be able to keep up with a blog.
Still... there are times when I have something to say, something to share, or even something to promote, and it WOULD be nice to have one place to post to... ya know... once in awhile :)
SO... here is my "blog".... you won't see frequent updates on it, but when I got something to say, you WILL see it here.
HEY... I know... why not subscribe to my blog, and when I DO say something, you will be able to see it. Better than having to check this blog everyday to see if said something or not... lol.

The REAL "About Me" Info

I was born and raised in California, but strongly believe I should have been born in the mid-west, or one of the islands off the east coast, such as Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. OR.. maybe Vermont or Maine.
I SO am not a California girl... lol.... I'd LOVE to be from a small area... neighbors knowing neighbors, sharing in vegetable co-ops, quilting bees :)
But, that is not to be, so I will just have to keep pretending in my mind :)

I have one AMAZING grown son, one absolutely perfect dog, and a wonderful, supportive husband.
I finally own my own house, and I am so thankful, but there is something still to be desired when your house is stucco with wrought iron fencing, and when you really want a wood-siding house, with a white picket fence... lol... Still, I am SO appreciative of what I have now!!!! I am just trying to let you know a little about where my inclinations lie.

I love creating! I have been crafting one thing or another since I was in my mother's womb... I've done just about everything.... well, no welding or glass blowing, but just about everything else. Sewing, crochet, clay, tole-painting, .. so many others.
My favs, tho, are paper crafts... especially mini-albums, tags, and cards.

I've done scrapbooking.... I have about 14, or more, albums... Then I went to Digital Scrapbooking... I mean, I became a Designer. I sold thru stores like Digitals, Gotta Pixel, the Scrapping Garden, and others that I just don't wanna look up right now :D

I am not doing that anymore... it's a WONDERFUL method to scrap, especially to pass on to future generations...... but I am into creating paper products right now.I also have a passion for organization... I just love it! .... I mean, I love doing it... it's very rewarding to take a messed up area and zap it into shape.... and even tho others may make fun of us organizers, they sure do like it when they can actually FIND something they are looking for :)

I love gardening, tho I am still new at it... I really hope to get a productive veggie garden growing this year. I've planted some new flowers, and am totally enjoying those. My husband grows strawberries, and we've grown tomatoes and peppers and onions... easy stuff.... but OH so good!

Quilting.... that's another thing I want to work on this year... I COULD do it... but definitely still a beginner. I have some small projects I've been collecting supplies for...

Oh yeah.... speaking of "collecting supplies for".... my MAIN claim to fame is that I am a Scrapbook Supply Collector!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the products.... the papers, the punches, the stamps, the bling, the dyes....... So much so that when I get them, I don't want to use them, cuz then I wouldn't have them anymore :( But I am working on dealing with it...)

Beading.... awhile back I was totally into making beaded jewelry... using mainly seed beads. I taught classes, sold patterns, and even had a book published by Plaid Enterprises.. It sold well, but when it was time for a new book, I was just tired of seed beeds.... I went into a different obsession, er... I mean.... direction.

And one of my FAV new pastimes is my RV.... nothing spectacular... just something for me and dog and hubby to get away in for a few days..... enjoying some fresh air, nice scenery, and meeting new people. A simple life... I just love it!
